The Industrials
Archeaology of Photography Fundation
The second virtual exhibition on the PhotoRegister (FotoRejestr) portal is devoted to the theme of industry. The Polish installment of the project draws upon private photographic collections currently stored at the Archeology of Photography Foundation, as well as those researched in the course of the PhotoRegister project. The Norwegian photographs come from the collection of the key partner of the project, the Museum of Science, Technology and Medicine in Oslo.

Teknisk Museum
A great part of The Norwegian Museum of Science, Technology and Medicine’s photo collection is about the industrialization in Norway with archives from industrial companies reflecting production, transport and power supply. When DEXTRA Photo was established in 2008 one of the intentions was to continue the collection of industrial photography. The pictures of this collection could bring new aspects on this topic. The” Photo Register” project between the museum and the The Archeology of Photography Foundation in Warsaw offers a great opportunity to go deeper into the industrial photographs of the DEXTRA Photo collection through the theme of this virtual exhibition.
